Rose Lassi Recipe is a popular Indian drink made with yogurt, rose syrup, dried rose petals and sugar. It is a refreshing drink that can be enjoyed any time of the day.

Ingredients
Here's a list of ingredients you'll need
- Yogurt (curd) - use fresh plain whole milk curd or greek yogurt. If you're using homemade curd make sure it is not sore.
- Rose syrup - I have used Dabur rose syrup to make this recipe
- Chilled water and rose water
- Sugar and cardamom powder
- Edible dried rose petals
- Optional - Ice cubes and chopped nuts

How to make rose lassi
- Add yogurt, rose syrup, rose water, sugar, dried rose petals, cardamom powder and chilled water into a jar and blend using a hand blender or a whisk until it's smooth.
- Pour the lassi into a glass-topped with ice cubes and garnish with some chopped nuts and enjoy!
Substitutions
For the vegan version, use plant-based yogurt.
Replace sugar with honey or maple syrup
Variations
In place of water, you can add whole milk
Add gulkand to rose lassi for more rose flavour.
Storage
- Keep any leftover lassi in the fridge for one to two days. Ice cubes are not necessary if you plan to store them.
