What is soya sauce? Is this the same as soy sauce? Also, is it ok to use regular flour instead of corn flour?
Pavani
Yes, it's soy sauce, you can use plain flour to make the slurry instead of corn flour.
Kelly
Hi,
Where do you find the βred chili sauce?β I have a Chinese chili garlic sauce, but yours did not look the same.
Thanks!
Pavani
Hi Kelly, you can find red chilli sauce in any supermarket or in an Asian store

Thank you!

Love the basic recipe - would be nice to see a variation using an air fryer instead of deep frying in oil π
Pavani
Thank you Manfred. You can use an air fryer or roast in an oven, instead of deep frying and follow the remaining recipes as mentioned

Made this tonight and we loved it! Next time Iβd add more chili powder, because we like it a bit spicier, but it was sooooo good! Highly recommend.
I sautΓ©ed the cauliflower instead of deep frying, and it worked fine. Next time I will probably try baking in oven and then tossing with the sauce. Very good recipe, thank you.
