This Jeera Rice Recipe is an easy Indian rice dish flavoured with cumin seeds and ghee. It is a perfect accomplishment for an Indian meal with any curry. It is the simplest and quickest rice among all the rice recipes.

You can make this jeera rice in two methods one is a pressure cooker and the other is in one pot. I usually prepare this dish using the one-pot method. Like cooking the rice first and then tempering it with ghee and cumin seeds.

I cooked this Jeera rice for Food Bloggers Recipe Swap in FB group.
For this month, April I have to cook from  Nayna's blog “Simply sensational food”, she blogs about a vegetarian dishes and you definitely visit her site where you can find delicious recipes along with her travel experiences.

This recipes also goes as my 13th-day post for Blogging Marathon.

A simple yet flavorful rice base that pairs well with a spicy curry. Your rice looks perfectly white. I add a little cumin powder as well to my jeera rice.

The inclusion of white pepper powder is very interesting... this rice just needs some dal on the side, such a meal it is!

I either cook rice along with the spices or add cooked rice to the tempering. Doing both probably made this rice even more flavorful.5 stars
