Veg Mayonnaise Sandwich Recipe is a very easy and quick toast which you can prepare under 15 minutes. The preparation of this sandwich is very simple just by adding your favourite chopped veggies along with mayonnaise, pepper and salt. Then toast using a grilling machine or on frying pan.
It is a perfect sandwich for kids’ lunch box. I made this today for my kids’ lunch and they enjoyed it very well.
Coming to the recipe, for this month in Food bloggers Recipe swap I have to cook from Narmadha's blog "namscorner." So, I want to make something easy at the same time a little bit healthy recipe from her site. Then I came across this recipe and made it immediately. STEP BY STEP PICTURES OF MAKING VEG MAYONNAISE SANDWICH RECIPE
Ingredients:
- Bread slices – 6
- Chopped onion – 1 small
- Chopped cucumber – 4tbsp
- Mayonnaise – ¼ cup
- Chopped capsicum – 4tbsp
- Butter – 2tbsp
- Black pepper powder – 1tsp
- Salt to taste
Preparation:
In a mixing bowl add the chopped onions, capsicum and cucumber.
Next, add a ¼ cup of mayonnaise along with black pepper and salt according to your taste.
Mix all the ingredients well, in a way that veggies are fully covered in mayonnaise.
Take the bread slices and apply butter on both slices.
Spread the veg mixture evenly on to each bread slices and cover it with another bread slice on top.
Place the bread slices in the grill machine and cook until the slices turn into light brown colour. You can make these sandwiches on frying pan also.
Once you get your desired colour, switch off the machine.
Cut the sandwich into a triangle shape and enjoy delicious veg mayonnaise sandwich with a cup of tea or like itself.
Note:
You can toast this sandwich on frying pan also.
Increase or decrease the quantity of mayonnaise according to you.
