    Instant Kesar Peda - is a popular Indian dessert which is infused with saffron milk. This is an easy and quick peda recipe made with the milk powder, ghee and milk. You can prepare this delicious milk sweet within 20 minutes.

    In my home, Diwali preparations have started in full swing and I started preparing easy, simple sweets and snacks. If you are looking for an Instant sweet then you will love these MILK POWDER BURFI, INSTANT MALPUA

    On this occasion, I wish you and your family a happy Deepavali. 

    A SHORT VIDEO RECIPE

     

    INGREDIENTS USED FOR MAKING INSTANT KESAR PEDA 

    Milk powder - Used full-fat powder

    Milk - I used whole full-fat milk

    Ghee - Used homemade (clarified butter)

    Sugar- Granulated sugar

    Cardamom powder -Elachi, Used homemade powder 

    Saffron- Used to flavour the milk.

    Nuts - Pistachio for garnishing

     PEDA RECIPE WITH STEP WISE INSTRUCTIONS

    Ingredients:

    • Ghee - 1tbsp
    • Milk - ¼ cup + 2tbsp 
    • Sugar - ¼ cup
    • Milk powder -½ cup
    • Cardamom powder - ¼ tsp
    • Saffron a few strands

    Preparation: 

    • First, soak a few saffron strands in warm milk and keep aside.
    • Heat a wide and thick bottom pan. Add ghee, milk and mix well.
    • Add sugar and mix well until it dissolves completely. Then add milk powder and mix well without any lumps.

    • Keep stirring on low flame until combines well. Add cardamom powder and mix well.
    • Add the saffron milk and keep stirring on low flame until it thickens.

    • Once it starts to separate from the pan. Switch off the flame.
    • Transfer the dough into a plate and allow it to cool for a few minutes.
    • Grease your hands with ghee and take a small portion of the dough when it is warm enough to touch and roll them into peda.

    • Repeat the same process with the remaining dough and place them in a plate.
    • Finally, garnish pedas with pistachio and enjoy!
    • You can store this Kesar peda in an airtight box at room temperature for 2 days and in the fridge for 1 week.

    NOTES:

    • Use full- fat milk powder to make peda.
    • Don't overcook the dough, once it starts to leave the sides of the pan. Transfer into a plate. Otherwise, peda will not be soft.

      Looks awesome , love the nice yellow color of the pedas. I just made a batch as well but used the microwave to do it .5 stars
