Milk Powder Burfi is a very easy and quick sweet which can be done in 15 minutes. This burfi is a special sweet for Diwali. Diwali is a festival of lights. This sweet is made with simple ingredients like milk powder, double cream, sugar, ghee and cardamom powder. Try this delicious sweet for this Diwali and enjoy with family and friends.
Ingredients:
- Milk powder-3cups
- Double cream-1cup
- Sugar-½cup
- Ghee-2tbsp
- Cardamom powder-½tsp
- Chopped Almonds and Pistachios for garnishing
Step by step preparation:
Preparation:
- Grease a plate with ghee and keep ready
- Heat a wide non-stick pan with ghee, add double cream and mix well
- Then add milk powder and combine well with the cream without any lumps
- Add sugar and mix well, keep stirring until it leaves the side. It takes approximately 10-12 minutes to cook
- When it leaves the side immediately pour this mixture in the greased plate and press it with the back of the spatula
- Add chopped nuts and press them firmly
- Allow it to cool for an hour and then cut into slices
- Store it in an airtight container
- Enjoy this tasty and delicious milk powder burfi.
