Chicken Fry with Roasted Spices

This Chicken fry with roasted spices tasted very good with rice as well as with rotis for my lunch.I was bored making regular chicken fries and kurma’s and i thought of making something different this time.Then i remembered this fry which is cooked with chopped onions and tomato’s and with roasted spices i.e.(cinnamom,cardamom,cloves,little cashew nuts).My daughter liked it very much.


Chopped Onions-2medium
Chopped Tomato’s-2medium
Ginger garlic paste-1tsp
Chiili pwd-1tsp
Coriander pwd-1tsp
Turmeric pwd-1/2tsp
chopped coriander leaves
Salt to taste

Dry roast n grind:

Cashew nuts-4or5


Clean and cut chicken into small pieces.

Heat a pan with oil,add chopped onions and fry till they turn golden colour.Then add ginger garlic paste and fry till raw smell goes out.

Add chopped tomato’s and cook till they become soft.Once tomato’s are cooked add chicken along with chilli,coriander and turmeric pwds.Fry on high flame for 5mints stirring occasionally.Then cook with closed lid till chicken is cooked.If you want you can add half a cup of water while cooking.

Once oil starts oozing out,add the grounded spices pwd and mix well and cook for few mints.

Finally add chopped coriander leaves and remove from the hob and transfer into a serving bowl.

Enjoy spicy and tasty chicken fry with rice or rotis.
