Chicken 65 Recipe is a popular non-vegetarian starter. It Is prepared with boneless chicken combined with spices, sauces, egg and deep fried in oil. This is very popular street food in India which is also served in many restaurants.
This is my all-time favourite non-vegetarian starter. Everyone in my family loves this 65 fry very much especially my kids. I adapted this recipe from here.
Ingredients:
- Boneless chicken-250 grams
- Corn flour-2tbsp
- Maida/All-purpose flour-2tsp
- Ajinomoto a pinch
- Soya sauce-2tbsp
- Red chilli powder-½tsp
- Pepper powder-½tsp
- Food colour a pinch
- Egg-1no.
- Salt to taste
- Oil for deep frying
For Seasoning:
- Slit green chillies-2to 3nos
- Chopped garlic-1tsp
- Curry leaves
- Curd-2tbsp
- Food colour a pinch
- Oil-2tbsp
Preparation:
Take a bowl and mix the ingredients under marination and keep it in the fridge for 4to 5hours. Once the time is done.
Heat Pan with enough oil for frying the chicken pieces.Fry the chicken pieces in a batch until they turn into golden colour. Place them on kitchen towel to excess oil.
Heat a wok or pan with oil, add slit green chillies, chopped garlic and curry leaves. saute them for few mints, then goes the curd and food colour.
Mix them well and then goes the fried chicken pieces. Cook till the chicken pieces completely absorbs the curd. Once it is ready, garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve chicken 65 recipe with your favourite chutney.
Note:
Adjust the spiciness according to your taste.
If you don't have time marinate at least 1 hour before frying.
