Instant Pot Tomato Rice- This is an easy and delicious south Indian tomato rice made with basmati rice, a few spices and herbs in an Instant pot or Pressure cooker or in a normal saucepan. This is a vegan and gluten-free dish.

Tomato rice is one of my family’s favourite rice. I make this rice at least one a week because it is so quick to make. I have so many memories with this tomato rice, during my school days my mom used to make this at least once a week for my lunch box. You can enjoy this delicious pulao with any veg or non veg gravy or with simple onion raita.

You can make this tomato rice in two methods. One is mixing rice, spices and herbs and cooking together. Other method is you can make this tomato rice with left over rice. Make the masala and mix it with the rice.
