    Easy Tutti Frutti Cake is a soft and fluffy cake which is perfect for tea time and also for kids snack box.

    I made this cake several times before but I had never taken the pictures and posted them on my site so this time I decided I should share this easy and quick cake recipe with you all.

    Every time I make this cake, it finishes within one day. My kids love it very much. I don’t know whether you people believe or not but I had made this cake twice in one week.

     

    Easy Tutti Frutti Cake

     

    Coming to the recipe, this cake requires only minimal ingredients to make which are readily available in our pantry. You can mix everything in a bowl to prepare the cake batter.

    How to make easy Tutti Frutti Cake

    Ingredients required

    Can you make this cake without eggs?

    Yes, you can make this cake without eggs, just replace one egg with ¼ cup of yoghurt/curd.

    Ingredients:

    All-purpose flour/ Maida -1 cup + 1tbsp extra

    Baking powder - 1tsp

    Baking soda- ½ tsp

    Tutti Frutti - ¼ cup

    Sugar - ½ cup

    Salt - ¼ tsp

    Eggs -2

    Oil - ¼ cup

    Milk- 2-3 tbsp

    Easy Tutti Frutti Cake

     

    Preparation:

    1.Preheat the oven to 180°c

    2.Grease and line the loaf tin with parchment paper and keep aside.

    3. Coat Tutti frutti with 1tbsp of flour and keep aside.

    4. In a mixing bowl add oil, sugar and beat well with an electric beater until sugar is completely dissolved with oil. It will take approximately 3-5 minutes.

    5. Add eggs one by one at a time to the bowl and beat well.

    6. Next, sift the flour, baking powder, baking soda into the egg mixture.

    7. Using a spatula, combine the mixture well using a cut and fold method.

    8. Add vanilla essence along with 2tbsp of milk. Mix the mixture again.

    9. Now add the tutti frutti and mix well.

    10. Transfer the mixture into the prepared loaf and bake for 30-35 minutes at 180°c or until the toothpick comes clean.

    11. Once it is baked allow it to cool in the tin for 5 minutes.

    12. Now transfer the cake on to wire a rack and allow it to cool completely.

    13. Once it is cooled completely cut into slices and enjoy with a cup of tea/ coffee or as a snack.

          Hi Mamta, I make this cake regularly with the same measurement and it comes very well. Maybe you have opened the oven door in the middle that caused the cake to sink.
