Cornflakes Mixture Recipe is a delicious, crispy Indian savoury snack which you can enjoy any time of the day. This mixture is very easy to prepare and it takes less than half an hour. Usually, we prepare this snack in bulk during festive seasons to share with family and friends.
This Cornflake mixture is very addictive that you cannot stop with one bowl and it is a perfect snack for travelling.
Step by step pictures of making Cornflakes Mixture Recipe
Ingredients:
- Cornflakes – 2cups (here I used Kellogg's)
- Groundnuts/peanuts – ½cup
- Fried gram dal – ¼cup
- Cashew nuts – ¼cup
- Dry Red chillies – 2
- Red chilli powder- 1tsp
- Curry leaves a handful
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying
Preparation:
Heat a deep bottom Kadai with enough oil for deep frying, once the oil is hot fry groundnuts, fried gram dal, curry leaves, cashew nuts, red chillies and keep aside in a plate.
Next deep fry the corn flakes on medium heat until they puff and become crispy. Then transfer them into a plate.
Take a large bowl and add all the fried ingredients when they are warm and mix well along with salt and red chilli powder.
Allow them to cool completely and store in an airtight container and enjoy crunchy, nutty, tasty Cornflakes mixture.
