Wishing All my Friends "A Happy Deepavali".Today i have prepared Boondi Ladoo which is my Favourite from childhood day's onwards. As we are n't in India we are missing every one in my family there. My kids would have enjoyed a lot there. But here it is not like that. For every deepavali we use to get up early in the morning and then used to have oil bath for kids and wear new clothes.I am happy that both my kids loved these boondi ladoos very much.
Besan/Gram flour-11/2cup
Sugar-1cup
Baking soda a pinch
Salt a pinch
Cardamom pwd-½tsp
Orange food colour a pinch
Cashew nuts
Take a bowl add besan, salt and baking soda and mix well by adding required water in order to make semi thin paste.
In mean time cook the syrup for the ladoo by taking a large pan in that add sugar and pour water till it covers the sugar and cook to get string like syrup.Add cardamom pwd and mix well.
Heat a pan with oil for frying the boondi.Take the batter and pour it over a sieve with round holes.Tap it gently with a spoon so that small balls of dough fall into the oil. Make the balls and keep aside.
Add these fried balls to the sugar syrup and mix well and make ladoos when it is warm only other wise sugar crystallizes.
Enjoy Tasty n yummy Boondi Ladoos!
