Sesame Seeds Ladoo is a sweet which we usually prepare during Ganesh Chaturthi. I too prepared these ladoos on that day to offer as a naivedyam to the God. Black sesame seeds are rich in protein and iron.

    • Black sesame seeds-200grams
    • Jaggery-200 grams
    • Cardamom pods-2

    Sesame Seeds Ladoo

    Preparation:

    1. Heat a kadai and dry roast sesame seeds on low-medium flame for 5 minutes or until you hear the crackling sound from the seeds.

    2. Transfer the sesame seeds into the plate to cool down.

    3. Next, add the seeds to a mixer and blend into a powder. Then add jaggery and cardamom pods to the mixer and blend them well.

    4. Then transfer the mixture into a plate and take a small amount of mixture into your palm and press firmly to make into small ladoos.

Wow, these look like a wonderful snack! I'll have to see where I can find some of the ingredients - my son has Gastroparesis, so any way of getting extra nutrients into him easily is always a good thing!5 stars
