    Masala Vaada

    Hi Friends for the last week i can't post any recipes.As i was not feeling well due to severe cold and cough.And i was not able to sit in front of the system and write the post.Today feeling much better than last week.I prepared this Masala Vaada on Sunday morning for my breakfast along with idly and sambar which is very famous in Andhra.In Every hotel they serve Vaada with idly and sambar.Here goes the recipe..

    Ingredients:

    Channa Dal-1cup
    Dry red chilies-4nos
    Grated ginger-1tsp
    Chopped onions-1cup
    Chopped coriander leaves-2tbsp
    Turmeric a pinch
    Salt to taste
    Oil for deep frying

    Preparation:

    Wash and soak Dal for 3to 4hours.Once time is done.Drain the water from the Dal.

    Pop Dal and all the above ingredients expect oil in a mixer.Grind them into a coarse paste don't make the paste smooth.Transfer the paste into a bowl.

    Heat a pan with enough oil for deep frying these vaadas.Take the paste like a lemon size ball and
    press them between your palms and fry them in oil on medium flame till they turn into crispy on outer side.Repeat the process for the entire paste and fry them in batch's.Transfer them on to kitchen towel to absorb excess oil.

    Enjoy eating tasty tasty vaada with idly -sambar or like it self.

      A vadai after my own heart - nay- stomach - I was seriously wanting to make these yesterday but ended up making puri masala instead! Do you think you may have allergies? it is that time of year ... feel better 🙂
