I made Kuskha yesterday night for my dinner along with egg curry.I have tried and tasted this recipe from Prema's Thaligai.The preparation very simple and easy.It tasted really very delicious.I followed the same procedure as Prema did.Here goes the recipe..
Ingredients:
Basmati rice-2cups
Water-31/2cups
Curd/yogurt-1cup
Chopped onions-1big nos
Chopped tomato's-1 big nos
Split green chillies-2nos
Ginger garlic paste-1tsp
Ghee-2tbsp
Cloves,cardamom,cinnamon,bay leaves
Turmeric powder-½tsp
Chopped coriander leaves for garnishing
Salt to taste
Heat a non-stick pan with ghee,add spices then goes chopped onions along with split green chillies. When onions are cooked well,add chopped tomatoes along with ginger garlic paste,turmeric powder,mix well.
Add curd and cook for 2minutes only.Then add the rice and mix every thing well.
Pour the entire mixture into electric rice cooker along water and required salt.When it is cooked add chopped coriander leaves and transfer it into a serving bowl and enjoy with Egg Curry..
