Cauliflower Manchurian or Gobi Manchurian is my favourite one.In my Home town Tirupati i used to eat it at least twice a day.The place where it is sold will be having a big queue and we used to wait and get this Manchurian. The other day it doesn't had much crowd and i asked the person who makes these Manchurian how he makes and he showed be the process to make it.They used regular onions for this Manchurian.

Yesterday i brought fresh cauliflower and thinking what to make with this cauliflower. Then i searched into my cook book..and i found this Manchurian which i wrote it before my marriage.I made this Manchurian in Indian style.

    Ingredients:

    For making the Manchurian

    Cauliflower - 250 gms
    Chilli sauce-2tbsp
    Chilli pwd-½tsp
All purpose flour / Maida -3tbsp
    Corn flour - 2tbsp
    Salt to taste
    Oil for deep frying

    For making the sauce

    Soya sauce - 2tbsp
    Tomato Sauce -2 tbsp
    Corn flour - 1 tbsp
    chilli sauce-2tbsp
    Salt to taste
    Chopped onions-2medium nos.

    Preparation:

    For making Manchurian

Clean and cut cauliflower to small pieces.Take water that will be enough to soak the florets and bring to boil. Add to the cauliflower along with salt. Cover with lid and leave it aside.

Take a bowl and the flours and mix with little water to have a batter that's thin.To this add chilli sauce and chilli pwd and mix well. And keep it aside.Drain the cauliflower and keep it ready.

Meanwhile heat a pan with oil. Once its really hot, dip each florets and drop gently into the hot oil. Cook on both sides and drain to a kitchen towel.

    For the sauce.

Heat a pan with oil,add black cumin seeds, chopped onions and fry them till onions turns golden brown colour.Add the sauces along with salt and cook for few mints.

Mix corn flour with little water and mix well and then add the cooking mixture and cook for few mints.

Add the fried cauliflower florets and mix well well and cook for 5mints.Finally before removing from the hob add chopped coriander leaves and transfer into serving bowl enjoy it!
