Yesterday i made this Vegetable Vermicelli pulao for my dinner.Its quite easy n consumes less time to prepare.So we can prepare it anytime.Here i used frozen mixed veggies along with onions and pulao masala.Here goes the recipe..
Vermicelli/Semiya-1cup
Frozen mixed veggies-½cup(carrot,peas,beans,corn)
Chopped onions-1medium
Cumin seeds-1tsp
Ginger garlic paste-1tsp
Pulao masala-½tsp(store brought)
Chopped coriander leaves
Fried cashew nuts
Lemon juice-1tsp
Salt to taste
Oil-2tbsp
Heat a nonstick pan with oil and fry the vermicelli till it changes into golden colour and transfer it into plate.
In the same pan again add oil.Add cumin seeds long with chopped onions and fry till onions turns into pink colour.
Add ginger garlic paste and fry till raw smell goes out.Now add frozen veggies and stir well for 2-3 mints.Then add pulao masala along with lemon juice,required salt.
Add 11/2cup of water and bring to boil,At this stage add the fried vermicelli slow and mix well.Cook with closed lid for 5-6 mints or till it is cooked.
Once it is cooked add chopped coriander leaves and garnish with fried cashew nuts and transfer it into a serving bowl.Enjoy tasty n spicy pulao.
