Easy Homemade Herb and Carrot Cream Cheese Spread is a very quick and flavourful spread which you can prepare in advance and keep in the fridge. In this spread, you can add your favourite veggies and herbs according to your taste.

I prepare this spread very often for my kid’s lunch box, as it very easy one. Actually, you can use it as a dip also, sometimes I munch this with nachos and it tastes delicious.

Step by step pictures of making Easy Homemade Herb and Carrot Cream Cheese Spread

    Ingredients:

    • Full fat cream cheese – 180 grams
    • Dried Basil leaves – ½tsp
    • Dried parsley leaves -½tsp
    • Roughly chopped Fresh dill leaves – 1tbsp
    • Black pepper -½tsp
    • Finely chopped carrots- 3tbsp
    • Lemon juice – 2tsp
    • Salt to taste

    Preparation:

In a mixing bowl, add the cream cheese and stir with the help of fork until the cream softens and creamy.

Now add the chopped carrots along with basil, parsley, black pepper, Dili leaves and salt. Combine everything well.

Add lemon juice and mix well.

Transfer the cream cheese spread into an airtight container and store it in the fridge for about 2 hours or overnight to allow flavours to mix thoroughly with cream cheese (here I kept mine overnight).

You can store this dip/spread in an airtight box up to 2 weeks in the fridge.

    Note:

Here you can add your favourite veggies to the spread.

Remove the dip/spread from the fridge at least 30 minutes before using.
