Cabbage Stir Fry is quick and simple fry which you can accomplish with rice/dal and even with roti too. Usually, this dish is made in different styles in different regions. But today I am sharing this dish in a very simple way using green chillies and coriander powder.
Ingredients:
- Shredded cabbage -2cups
- Green chillies-3
- Red chillies-2
- Coriander powder-1 ½tsp
- Cumin seeds- ½tsp
- Mustard seeds-½tsp
- Channa dal-1tsp
- Curry leaves a strand
- Turmeric powder-½tsp
- Coriander leaves for garnishing
- Salt to taste
- Oil-3tbsp
Preparation:
1. Heat a pan with oil, once it is hot add cumin, mustard seeds, curry leaves, channa dal along with green chiles and red chillies.
2.When you hear the crackling sound add shredded cabbage and turmeric powder. Mix everything well.
3.Cover and cook for 5-10minties on low- medium flame.
4. Add salt according to your taste. Again stir them well. Cover it.
5. Cook for another 5-10 on medium flame or until cabbage is cooked.
6. Then add coriander powder and mix well. Cook for 5 minutes on high flame.
7. Turn off the flame and add coriander leaves.
8. Enjoy tasty and delicious Cabbage stir fry with your favourite dal/rice.
