Ingredients:
Turdal-1cup
Red chillies-4nos
Curry leaves
Coriander leaves
Onion-1small
Tomato-1no
Chopped Garlic -4nos
Mustard seeds
Split urad dal
Tamarind-small piece
Turmeric a pinch
Salt to Taste
Oil-2tbsp
Preparation:
1.First chopp onions,tomato and keep aside.
2.Take a Kadai add oil,turdal and 1cup water allow to cook,when dal is half cooked add red chillies,half chopped onions,tomato,Tamarind,turmeric,curry and coriander
leaves.
3.Allow it to cook till dal is fully done.
4.Then add salt,and smash it with papuguthi/wooden stick,which is used to smash the
dal.
5.Take a pan add oil,seasoning ingredients,remaining chopped onions and chopped
garlic.
6.Once they change colour add smashed turdal and allow it cook for 5mints.
7.Then ur ENDIMIRAPAKAYA PAPPU / RED CHILLI DAL is ready.
8.This dal is mainly served with rice along with Mango uragaya/pickle.
