Cut the cauliflower into small florets and then add the florets to a bowl and pour hot water. Cover and keep aside for 10 minutes.
In a bowl, add all-purpose flour, cornflour, red chilli powder and salt. Then, mix well by adding water slowing into a smooth and lump-free batter.
Now drain the water completely from the florets and keep it aside.
Heat a frying pan with oil for deep frying and then dip the florets into the batter and slowly drop them into the oil - Don't overcrowd the pan.
Next, deep fry the florets on medium flame until they turn crispy and into a golden, brown colour.
Now, heat a pan with oil and so once the oil is hot, add chopped onion, chopped garlic and saute for a few minutes.
Then add soya sauce, red chilli sauce, tomato ketchup, black pepper powder and salt to taste and mix well.
Now add the honey and mix well.
Add water to the mixture and mix well. Now make a slurry by mixing cornflour with water without any lumps and add slowly to the gravy and mix well.
Now add the fried cauliflower and coat well with the gravy. Add the spring onion and mix well and switch off the flame.
Enjoy the taste and crispy cauliflower starter when it is hot.
