Dates Sesame Seeds Ladoo

Dates Sesame Seeds Ladoo - a healthy and nutritious sweet treat made with just three ingredients and ready in under 10 minutes. These sugar-free Dates sesame laddus are high in calcium and iron.

  • Sesame seeds - 1Cup
  • Chopped dates - 1Cup (seedless)
  • Ghee - 1 Tbsp


  • Heat a pan, add sesame seeds and dry roast on low-medium flame for 3 to 5 minutes or until they change their colour slightly.
  • Transfer them into a bowl and allow it to cool completely.
  • Add the cooled sesame seeds into a mixie jar and grind them into a coarse powder.
  • Again heat a pan with ghee and add the seedless chopped dates and saute for few minutes until they become soft.
  • Add the ground sesame powder and combine well with the dates for a few minutes. Switch off the flame and allow it to cool for a few seconds.
  • When it is warm enough to touch, mix well the mixture properly and make ladoos as per your desired size.
  • These ladoos stay good for 10 days if we store them in an airtight box.



  • If the mixture is dry while making ladoos add 2 to 3 teaspoon of ghee and mix well.
  • You can make this ladoos vegan by replacing ghee with coconut oil.
  • Make laddus when the mixture is warm enough.
