Biscoff Brownies Recipe

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 10-12 Lotus biscuits
  • ½ cup Unsalted butter (melted)
  • ½ cup Dark chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup Cocoa powder
  • ½ cup Brown sugar
  • ¼ cup White sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • ½ cup All purpose flour/Maida/Plain flour
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla bean paste
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ cup Biscoff spread

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degree celsius or 356 Fahrenheit
  • Line a 8*8 inch pan with parchment paper and keep aside.
  • First, add 10 to 12 lotus biscuits in a zip lock bag and crush them using a rolling pin into crumbs and set them aside
  • To a mixing bowl, add unsalted melted butter, chocolate chips and microwave for 20 seconds and stir well until the chocolate melts completely.
  • Now add the cocoa powder and mix well without any lumps.
  • Add ½ cup of brown sugar ,¼ cup white sugar and mix well using a whisk until it is nicely combined.
  • Then add eggs and incorporate well with the batter.Next goes vanilla bean paste and mix well.
  • Add plain flour and combine well without over mixing the batter.Then add the crumbled lotus biscuits and mix well.
  • Transfer the batter into a pre lined tin and even it.
  • Melt the biscoff spread in a microwave for few seconds.
  • Add the spread on the brownie batter and make a swirly using a toothpick .
  • Bake at 180 degree celsius or 356 Fahrenheit for 30 minutes
  • Once its done remove from the oven and allow it cool completely.
  • Slice them into your desired pieces and enjoy!
