Macaroni Cheese Recipe |How to make Mac n Cheese

Macaroni cheese is my kids favourite dish as they love it very much. Especially, my son is very fond of this Mac n cheese. Even if give him every day he will never say no. Usually I prepare the white sauce with plain flour and butter but today I prepared in a different style which I have seen in a video long time ago. I don’t remember the site name, sorry for that. I have a habit like whenever I see a recipe and if I like it, immediately I write it in a book. Here I have used cream cheese and evaporated milk along with mixed cheddar cheese

Ingredients

  • Macaroni -400grams
  • Cream cheese-200 grams
  • Butter-2tbsp
  • Mixed cheddar cheese-150 grams
  • Evaporated milk-200ml
  • Onion powder-¼ Tsp
  • Paprika-¼tsp
  • Salt -½ Tsp

Instructions

  • Cook macaroni as per instructions on the package
  • Drain the water and keep the macaroni aside
  • Meanwhile, grease an oven proof bowl tray with butter
  • Heat a non-stick pan on low- medium flame, add butter and allow it to melt.
  • Add paprika followed by salt and onion powder and stir everything well
  • Next, add cream cheese and mix everything well until it is fully combined with butter
  • Then add evaporated milk and stir well until it forms into a smooth sauce. Add cheddar cheese and mix well. Note: save some cheese for later to sprinkle.
  • Add cooked macaroni and mix everything well so that macaroni is fully coated with sauce
  • Now transfer the entire mixture into the greased tray and sprinkle some cheese on the top and bake @ 200 degree Celsius for 10 mins or until the cheese on the top melts
  • Enjoy creamy and delicious Macaroni cheese with your family
