Heat a pan and roast the poha for 3-4 minutes
Allow it to cool and grind into a coarse powder
Again, heat a pan with ghee, fry the cashews and raisins till they turn into golden colour. Take them into a bowl and keep aside
In the same pan add the powdered poha mixture and fry 2-3 mins or until a nice aroma comes.
Add 1 cup of hot water and combine everything well without any lumps
Add the remaining ghee and cook completely.
Next add sugar, food colour along with cardamom powder and mix everything well.
Keep mixing and cook for 5-6 mins or until it leaves the side of the pan
