Grilled Tandoori Chicken Tikka is a popular Indian dish prepared in so many different ways. Today I am sharing a very simple and straightforward method of preparing this dish by marinating the chicken pieces with yogurt and spices. Then refrigerate overnight or at least for 1 hour before cooking.

Grilled Tandoori Chicken Tikka
Chicken thigh fillets -500grams
Kashmir chili powder-1tsp
Coriander powder -1tsp
Garam masala -1/2tsp
Red Chilli powder-1/2tsp
Salt to taste
Clean and wash the chicken. Cut the chicken into medium size pieces and keep aside
In a mixer, add garlic, ginger and green chili. Grind into a coarse paste
In a bowl, add curd and gram flour. Mix without any lumps. Next, add the ground paste along with remaining spices and mix well.
Cover the bowl with clingfilm and refrigerate overnight.
Preheat the oven to 200°C
Skew the chicken into the sticks and place in the oven for around 20-25 mins and turn every 10 mins so that they’re cooked evenly
In the middle, brush the pieces with butter so that chicken pieces remain soft and juicy
Finally, sprinkle chaat masala over the chicken tikka pieces and enjoy!
