Today i made Chicken Naag for my dinner which i have seen in YouTube.I don’t know why they named it naag but when i saw it i was impressed and bookmarked it and prepared it.Its quite easy and it is gravy type we can have it with rice,rotis or even with idly or dosa.Here goes the recipe..
Chicken-1/2kg(medium size pieces)
Ginger garlic paste-1tsp
Finely chopped onions-1big
Chopped coriander leaves
Salt to taste
To make paste:
Clean and cut the chicken into medium pieces.
Peel the skin of potatoes and chop into cubes.
Take a mixer/blender grind all the ingredients to make paste.
Pour this paste on to chicken pieces and mix well.
Heat a pan with oil and ghee,add chopped onions along with salt and cook till onions changes into golden colour.
Add the chicken pieces along with marination and mix well.Then goes potatoes,cook on high flame for 5mints stirring in middle.
Then add required water and cook with closed lid for 10to15minutes.Once gravy becomes thick and chicken is cooked ,add chopped coriander leaves.
Switch off the hob and transfer into a serving bowl and enjoy with rice or rotis…
